Wordless Wednesday - Juniors Wrap Up A Great Season In AFL

While we still have AFL Finals to be decided, Football for juniors has finished. Our first year within the STJFL (Southern Tasmania Junior Football League) was rewarding for both the players and parents. I am a huge advocate of team sports. I am sure we will be back next year.

Poor Tasmania suffers a lot of backlash in regard to it's weather. Many would describe Tasmanian weather as cold and wet, and whilst this can be sometimes true, the weather here is often great, and it's seasons and predictability is changing. My son wasted no time in making the most of the water when Southern Tasmanian served up great weather for Easter. He wasn't the only one paddling around in the water either.

Introducing Some Cuteness

I have been keeping something from you. We have been enjoying and getting to know a special little lady, and she has been getting a lot of attention at our house. The guilt of keeping her to ourselves has been overwhelming though, and I thought it only fair to share the cuteness with you all.

Her name is Pippa and she is a German Short Haired Pointer. We have had her just over a month, which makes her 5 months old now. She will be a great companion for Gypsy.

Pippa belongs to Master 6, and they have been getting along well. They are probably on par with their cheekiness.
