Sunday Session - School Memories

I heard this song today in the car by Transvision Vamp, and it was such a blast from the past. It brings back some great memories of the gang at High School.

And since we are back in the High School Era, here is another favourite by Mel and Kim.

Sunday Session - Hair Inspired

Following in Thea's footsteps I too am concentrating on hair.
I have been following this artist for quite some time now. Not only do I like her hairstyles, I have looked to her recently to create my own style.

This artist is about more than hair though. She really puts her heart and soul into her lyrics, which connects with her fans. She has recently become a mother too. I love that she openly commented on Twitter about her experiences of being pregnant. I have not seen her live, but would love to. Others who have been lucky enough have said Pinks' concerts are fantastic.

Who Knew is still my all time favourite.

Whataya Want From Me is also good

Sunday Sessions - School memories

I am joining Thea at Do I Really Wanna Blog? and adding some music to this blog
New rules – there are no rules!
On Sundays I play music on my blog.
Old or new or in between.
Related or not.
But always songs I love!
Here are my picks for this week.
You can play along by linking up with Thea.
Happy Sunday!

My daughters class has been working on learning this song all term, as well as the sign language that goes with the chorus. I loved this song in the 80s, and was so pleased at the teacher's choice.

To compliment this, I thought i would go with another sone from the 80s that I performed with some friends at school. Ahhh .. the memories.

Sunday Session - Jewel

I saw Jewel perform live at my first Day On The Green in 2007 @ Tolosa, Glenorchy, Tasmania.

I already enjoyed her songs and voice. Seeing her perform live, though, was a great experience. The ease with which she sings, and the notes she hits is amazing.

I have quite a few Jewel favourites, but thought I might pick 2 popular ones (Foolish Games and Hands) which I really enjoy.

So sit back and enjoy.
